Northern Sri Lanka

A quiet boutique stay in the heart of Jaffna

Bespoke villas, locally curated journeys, and a slower way to discover the temples, beaches, and palmyra coast of Sri Lanka’s Northern Province.

Jaffna, Sri Lanka

On the island’s northern edge — a small family villa drawn around a quiet courtyard, a short walk from Nallur Kovil and the long open lagoon. Hosted by Abi and family the way they would host close friends, with mornings, meals and afternoons paced for unhurried days.

Accommodation

Three villas, one family

Abi Nila in the heart of Jaffna town. Abi Karai on the northern coast at Keerimalai. Abi Malar — a third quiet house, soon to follow. Each is a private booking, hosted in person by Abi and family.

Dining

Tamil home cooking, slowly served

Appam at sunrise, a thali on banana leaf at midday, and slow verandah dinners drawn from what came back from the Jaffna market that morning — cooked by a kitchen that learnt its recipes at home.

Wellness

Slow days, ordered around the coast

A walk on the Karainagar shore before breakfast, a sea-bathe at Keerimalai where fresh springs run into the lagoon, and an unhurried sit in the courtyard as the kovils begin their bells. Nothing timetabled — only the rhythms that suit.
