Wellbeing at our villa is not a programme. It is the rhythm of a quiet morning — mat on the verandah, kovil bells in the distance, and the long walk along the shore before the heat.

Generous space, abundant nature, fresh sea air, and time enough to do very little.


The North has its own pace — unhurried, salt-air, and ordered around the sea and the kovil bells. Days at the villa fall into the same rhythm: an early walk, a long breakfast, a quiet hour in the courtyard before the heat builds, and a slow swim before supper.

Wellbeing here is not delivered as a product. There is no spa pavilion, no signature programme, no wellness director. What we offer instead is the company of a small household team, the discretion of a private villa, and a careful network of local practitioners — yoga teachers, Ayurvedic therapists, sound-bath musicians — whom we have known for years and arrange for guests on request.

The villa itself is the first part of the answer. Stand-alone rooms, deep verandahs, courtyards open to the sky, and a small pool in the shade of the palmyra. You can pass an entire stay without leaving the gate, and many guests do.

In-villa Ayurveda

Treatments, arranged on request

Ayurvedic massage and herbal treatments are arranged on request from a vetted local practitioner. Sessions take place in your room or, with the doors open, on the shaded verandah — whichever is calmer for you that afternoon.

We don’t publish a treatment menu. Tell us in advance what you’d like — a single afternoon massage, a short course across your stay, or simply a consultation — and we’ll plan it around the rhythm of the rest of your trip.

Walks & waters

The lagoon at dawn, the springs at noon

Casuarina Beach, ten minutes from the villa, is shallow for hundreds of metres — the long sand-walk before breakfast is one of the simplest pleasures we can offer. Towels, fruit and a flask of tea travel with you.

At Keerimalai, fresh spring water meets the sea. The bathing ghats are sacred, and a midday bathe is a ritual many Northern families have kept for generations — one we are happy to introduce, quietly, when the time feels right in your stay.
