The journey
A full island-arc journey of seven nights, three of them at the villa in the Jaffna peninsula. The trip moves from Anuradhapura up into the North, settles for a slow stretch on the coast, and returns south through Sigiriya and Kandy to the airport. Airport / Negombo to Anuradhapura
Met at Bandaranaike International on arrival and driven north — about four hours through the coconut belt and into the dry-zone interior. A heritage stay near Anuradhapura, arranged on your behalf, is the base for the night. A late lunch or an early supper, depending on the flight; the trip proper begins tomorrow.
